Monoclonal
Form
Ascitic fluid
Raised In
Mouse
Immunogen
N-terminal extracellular region of human CaSR
Clone
HL 1499
Isotype
IgG1 / Kappa

Monoclonal antibody reacts specifically with human CaSR protein
Cross reactions
Cross reacts with proteins from mouse, rat and rabbit
Applications
This antibody is useful for Western Blot in transfected samples where a band is seen at ~130 kDa and a large smear at the top of the gel.
This protein is susceptible to aggregation, thus, resulting in just seeing the high MW smear.
Most cell lines do not express endogenous Ca++ sensing receptor.
Studies have been done with HEK-293 or MDCK cells stably or transiently expressed lysates.
This protein is also found in native tissues.
