Mouse protocols

Standard protocol

Four 6-8-week-old female mice are immunised according to a 81-day protocol. This phase includes animal housing, subcutaneous and intraperitoneal injections as well as test bleeds according to the provisional calendar we provide you with at the beginning of the project.

Multisite® protocol

On request, we can perform our exclusive and proprietary Multisite® protocol which includes multiple additional injections as well as one additional test bleed as compared to the standard protocol. The protocol duration is increased from 81 to 94 days, but the chances of generating positive hybridomas is also dramatically increased.

These timelines are given as an indication. Depending on the sera immunoreactivity, modifications can be applied to the provisional calendar, including additional injections and/or test bleeds. Thanks to our experience, we bring you advice at any time to make the right decisions.
