Custom Labelling

For an optimal labelling, we suggest you to use purified antibodies. If they are not available or you are unable to purify them, Covalab can undertake this service.

We offer antibody labelling for a wide range of applications.

- Fluorescein, Rhodamine, Biotin: Labelling of 100 µg of antibodies by classical technique
- AP: Labelling of 100 µg of antibodies by AVERAMEAS technique
- HRP: Labelling of 100 µg of antibodies by NAKANE technique

This step includes:
• Coupling of 3 different concentrations of Fluorescein, Rhodamine or Biotine to the antibody .
• Coupling of 1 concentration of HRP, AP to the antibody.
• Control of the immunoreactivity of antibody before and after labelling if the antigen is supplied.
• Shipping of a sample of each concentration to the customer in order to determine the appropriate concentration.

The best molar ratio defined by the customer from his results will be selected for the production of the conjugate (Fluorescein, Rhodamine, Biotin) in more important quantities. Several steps are necessary in order to obtain the conjugate. Theses include 2 purifications steps by chromatography and dialysis.

• Determination of the molar ratio (Fluorescein)
• Control of the immunoreactivity of antibody before and after labelling if the antigen is supplied.
• Control of the enzymatic activity (for HRP and AP conjugate)
