MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY PRODUCTION

In vitro Monoclonal Antibody Production

Monoclonal Antibody production is carried out in flask in classical media for less than 10 mg, large amount could be produced using high density culture devices.

Client should provide
Hybridoma cells in culture medium shipped at 4 °C or frozen cells shipped in dry ice. (in this case 3 weeks more are necessary to expend cells in culture)
Additional informations :
To be accepted by cell culture service, each hybridoma must be accompanied by a material transfert sheet and a certificate testifying the absence of mycoplasma.

Cobalab should perform :
- culture of cell hybridomas to obtain the number of cell needed for the production.
- culture of cell hybridomas and collection of supernatants containing the MAb
- storage of supernatant with 0.02% sodium azide at 4°C.
- shipping of the supernanant with ice pack.

On client's request :
- cell freezing (3 vials containing 2-8.106cells in a cryotube)
- cell storage in liquid nitrogen

Additional information :
- depending of the antibody amount needed, time of delivery will be included between 3 to 16 weeks.
- Monoclonal Antibody can be purified.
